Improving Access to Information, Prevention and Care
Sexual and reproductive health is an important part of our work to promote the health, dignity, and wellbeing of GBMSM and Male Sex Worker communities.
We provide accessible, community-based sexual and reproductive health education that equips individuals with practical information to make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing. Through outreach and peer-led engagement, we share information on safer sexual practices and connect community members with essential prevention resources, including condoms and lubricants.
When additional healthcare is needed, we facilitate referrals to trusted partner health facilities, helping reduce barriers and improve access to appropriate and respectful services.

Building Community-Led Capacity
Community members are central to the work of Kisumu Shinners.
We invest in the capacity of peer educators and paralegals, equipping them with knowledge and skills to provide information, guidance and support within their communities.
Our staff also receive training in human rights advocacy, strengthening the organization’s ability to engage on rights-related issues
