Kisumu Shinners Joins Regional Partners to Strengthen Evidence for Social Inclusion

Over two days at Ulwazi Place in Nairobi, Kisumu Shinners joined partners and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) leads from across eight countries for the Multi-Country Outcome Harvesting Workshop.

The workshop brought together members of the CPSE partnership to reflect on progress, examine evidence, and identify the changes emerging from collective efforts to challenge the politics and structures of social exclusion.

Through outcome harvesting, participants explored real-world changes resulting from their programmes and advocacy efforts. Discussions focused on understanding what has changed, how those changes came about, and the contributions made by partners and communities.

For Kisumu Shinners, the workshop provided an important opportunity to share experiences, learn from regional partners, and strengthen approaches to documenting and communicating impact.

The gathering also highlighted the importance of evidence-based learning and collaboration in advancing social inclusion. By bringing together organizations working across different contexts, the workshop created space for participants to identify common experiences, exchange lessons, and strengthen strategies for meaningful and sustainable change.

As Kisumu Shinners continues its work to advance inclusion and support communities affected by social exclusion, stronger evidence and learning will remain central to understanding what works and where greater action is needed.
